Billing Options
At Physio-Wise we offer various payment options depending on your circumstances.
Private Health Funds
Fees for private consultations are due at the time of service. Physio-Wise will accept cash, EFTPOS or credit card. TYRO HEALTH POINT is available at reception for automatic claiming through your private health fund. We do not accept American Express.
Payment is expected on the day unless prior negotiation is made. Should an account become outstanding an administration fee of $10.00 (GST inclusive) will be charged by Physio-Wise for each outstanding reminder account.
If a financial problem arises, please speak to your therapist or our reception staff. Do not interrupt the consistency and intensity of your treatment schedule or you will lose the gains that you have already achieved, which equates to a loss of time, money and effort.
For a full list of our fees please visit our Fees & Charges page.
Third-Party Claims
We are happy to treat clients covered by a third party such as Return To Work SA (RTWSA), Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), Department Veteran Affairs (DVA) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Consultation accounts will be sent directly to the appropriate body, provided that you have given Physio-Wise the appropriate billing information and paperwork. RTWSA and MVA claims require insurer name, claim number, date of injury and contact details including an email address to send accounts. We undestand that you might not have your claim details when you first come in for treatment so we are happy to see you for your first treatment without a claim number. If you do not provide claim details by the 2nd visit then you will need to pay privately until claim details can be supplied.
Medicare
Physio-Wise accepts Chronic Disease Management plans written by your doctor which entitles you to subsidy by Medicare. However, we are not a bulk billing clinic and so do require full payment upfront on the day of the appointment.
Please visit our Medicare page for more information.
